Acclaim had a whole family for Joshua in the comics, only for 3 to replace them with two different siblings. Also redesigning Adon. Oddly the Council of Voices was from these comics to end up in 3. The comics don't seem all too great, but it kinda sucks to throw away some backstory and characters that could had worked in 3. Not sure why we got a prequel reboot and not Turok 4 considering how 3 ends.
