The director said he wasn't that happy with the story either and hopes to improve that in the future.
But aside from that, just making another fun action game? The setting was cool, gameplay solid, the ost and visuals were excellent. Nothing wrong with those aspects being the primary appeal, and they have a good foundation to build on.
