They buffed the movespeed of the swords and added some damage to their special abilities. They also added more average of the purple crafting materials per run by adding a bit to chests. They also said that the next couple skins will be earnable rather than paid since apparently the halloween skins weren't very popular (this matches my anecdotal experience of not seeing very many of them and not getting them myself), and that skins that are unique to a character will be more distinct for them. Due to the increase in the number of characters and effort for skins, they will rotate who gets a skin on a regular basis.

I'd say all three of these changes are good. The grind for the purple materials was a bit silly, especially since the sword pass ends in a week and some of the challenges on it involve upgrading the unique ability of the swords.

I also like the idea of unique skins. I think every skin should have some personality of the character. Lune is a pop star, Viessa is a serious soldier, Serena is a storybook knight, etc. I hope they play around with the theme/trope of each character and incorporate that into skins. It also means people can be excited when a unique skin is announced for their favorite character, since they're doing it on a rotation.

Also apparently the next couple skins are a "medical support" and "cleaning duty" theme. If it's a nurse and a maid then I'm going to be in heaven. Those are two of my favorite things ever, alongside the bunny skins already in the game. So I'm happy. I wonder who they will be for, if they are unique rather than universal...

Overall, I would say based. Now my only complaint/desire is to give us more reason to go back to the old map sections, like perhaps a new third difficulty level, or story segments that take place there. Much like with Luna's story.

No, the grind is annoying.
