Uma is pretty exciting when you have a good build. Having your girl use like 5 skills in the final stretch to pull ahead and win is hype! They've been pretty generous with the freemium handouts as well, so even as a gacha-hater I'll admit I had a good time with it and didn't feel pressured to spend any money.
