>fondling tits isn't a development because I say so
Cute strawman, but I didn't say that. I said it's not a development because that's already happened and played out several times, for a gag, and that's all it amounted to. A gag.
Then, when it almost turned into something, but didn't, the "Hey, this is too lewd for our publication, SEXUAL FEELINGS - AWAY!!!" page popped up, and the chapter ended. Then, all that happened after is a filler chapter, and nothing since, for almost a year now.
>their relationship being put out in the open
It isn't a relationship though, the general public found out she goes to her childhood friend's house and that's it.
>this couple with less than 10 chapters to their name
Over the course of several years of publication. With only one chapter per year now. It isn't looking good, at the least.
>needs to be slamming hams because of a non-canon what if comic
What? The Sono Comiket books are all canon. The events in them are referenced in the weekly twitter posts, which is the only canon. Adaptations are safely considered not canon, even with the original author working on them, especially when they aren't explicitly stated to be canon or separate universes.
>it's bad writing
Yes? I'm sorry if that upsets you, but it's true, litlet.
Contrived plot devices saying "WHOA, NO PROGRESS FOR YOU BECAUSE OUR MAGAZINE DOESN'T ALLOW THAT NSFW STUFF!" Like, what is this tier of speedreading? For all the other girls in actual relationships, even in the manga, it's all explicitly stated, and any truly lewd stuff is implied. There was no reason to cut off them actually starting to date and feel attracted to each other, that chapter wouldn't need to end with sex.
And it didn't even end, anyway. They already just got thrust into filler episode chapters, and that's how it will continue forever now.
