Because some people actually did watch the movie instead of deciding it was good.
It has the same shit the MCU movies have where nothing is taken seriously by its own characters. Off the top of my head there's when the prisioners start arguing with each other when superman and morpho try to escape or "you brought the dog!" etc.
Everything HAS to be undermined.
And there's a literal sequence where Superman ignores a threat to the city and instead of at least portraying that they had it in the background because we're supposed to laugh at it. You can't have that scene and pretend this is the same wholesome Superman that would even save a kitty or a suicidal girl that people claim to like.
The only time the movie somewhat gets close to that is Superman's final speech with Luthor which does work partially because it isn't undermined by a joke. But that wasn't the whole movie.
