In May 2014 I literally said a really big war would happen as I was speaking with my ex who was moving from Siberia to Crimea at the moment. Like take a breath, think about risks. For me everything happening was neither a surprise, nor a total national disaster (of course, people have been dying, it's a personal disaster for them and their families), nor a blessing. It was pretty much expected, but not by Kremlin though. On other hand I know the Putin's team is able to adapt and get away with it. So I still live in Siberia. because there are a few-to-none risks from khokhols, and that's it.
