Mr. Anon, you seem to have confused righteous anger with a rather messy tantrum. While your concern over characterization is noted, your conclusions are quite flawed.
The issue is not merely one of "wokalizers". The rot goes far deeper, to the very writers themselves. Mr. Maekawa began this trend by misunderstanding Mr. Tails, and Mr. Flynn has continued it by writing fanfiction two degrees separated from actual, existing, Sonic the Hedgehog. These new localizers are merely a symptom of a much older disease within SEGA itself.
You are correct that they are taking away Mr. Sonic's wind. However, you fail to grasp that some western creations understood this core aspect of his character. A true "windfag" can see that SatAM's depiction of Mr. Sonic, who comes and goes as he pleases, is far more in line with the Japanese vision than what the current writers, western or otherwise, produce.
Furthermore, your vulgar statements about Ms. Sally Acorn are flagrantly false and deeply unbecoming. Her origins stem from early game concepts for a girlfriend, an idea that some early American localizers, such as Madeline Schroeder, were actually against. Your narrative is simply incorrect.
And to suggest there are no bad Sonic games is pure foolishness. SEGA is corporation with terrible direction, and it has produced many games that are not worthy of consideration. The problem is not just "bad Americans", but a company that has lost its way. It is hard to be a fan of actual, existing, Sonic the Hedgehog in these trying times.
