Only Silvazefags care about these two being a duo, anyone else who are fans of their individual characters and not deluded with shipfaggotry knows these characters would be better off doing their own thing. Silver needs his own characters and villains from his timeline, the future Sage vs Silver shit is unironically the most interesting thing to probably happen to his character if Sega doubles down. Blaze doesn't need to be attached to Silver, she does have established characters from her world, locations and occupation. They have no reason to be attached and their "relationship" is barely developed in the game that forces them to be that way. 90% of their dynamic is fan headcanon and theories inserted to do heavy lifting for what 06 didn't do.

What are the Sonic 06 gems supposed to be in the lore? They seem like a big deal considering how powerful they are and one was even supposed to let Sonic go Super.

It is quite something for a writer to give away the twist to her own villain. One must wonder if Ms. Evan Stanley simply could not help herself.

She appears to be attempting to write a character with a dissociative condition, but one gets the impression that she either lacks SEGA's approval or has not decided on the character's direction. This all but confirms the "blobian" was the real Mr. Lunar, which renders any potential mystery completely inert. The character is now fundamentally uninteresting.

Furthermore, Ms. Stanley seems to lack the creativity for a more interesting depiction. Instead, we are given a reductive binary of "master thief" versus "confused child." It is a terrible and simplistic portrayal.

It seems quite clear that Ms. Stanley is just creating another Ms. Belle. She is crafting a character who exists only to be pitied and to mope about, a character with no real potential for interesting stories.

One expects it will become virtue signaling trite that fails to say anything meaningful. It will certainly not be a relatable depiction for those who actually suffer from it.

When it comes to criticizing and critiquing someone's planning and time management skills I often try to give the person I'm critiquing the benefit of the doubt as much as I can because there's no way I could truly know what that person's day to day life is actually like but I mean really...REALLY think on this for just a little bit.

Evan is head writer for the comic and has internal papers and dialogue with SOA and even SOJ since she's on the lore team. She draws often enough on the official channels that one could excuse a bit of neglect with the story side of things so long as they're passible, it doesn't take much forethought or effort to outline a coherent story. Evan had months to plan this out, just like how Ian had months to touch up on what's going on the comic or at least asking the other staff members what was the plan or if there was any.
Neither of these people used any of that time to actually formulate a coherent plot that would fit well into a bigger story. Ian effectively just wrote over several people to close a plot thread he wanted to be done with already. Evan is literally just making shit up as she is writing things near their deadline. I highly doubt that SOJ would wait until the absolute last minute to flag something as obvious and severely OOC as Shadow literally risking an innocent bystander's life just so he can look cool in a few panels, so I'm going to go off a limb here and say that it wasn't because SOJ got back to them at an inconvenient time and it was probably moreso because these idiots waited until the absolute last fucking moment to turn in their story and artwork to be approved which is what lead to the horrible redrawing of some of the scenes.

What I'm essentially claiming here at this point is that these people are literally doing absolutely fucking nothing, not even putting in the bare minimum effort and there are multiple signs and evidence that point to this and if such is the case then at this point IDW should use AI.
