He's defending himself. Bondi is keeping a lid on the Epstein stuff, because Trump told him to.
But why is Trump suddenly so afraid of the material? My theory is that somebody told him it would upset a lot of powerful people and Trump made the calculation that it's better to anger the public, rather than those powerful people.
Why didn't Biden release any Epstein material? If it had hurt only Trump they might have, but once again, my theory is the material would hurt people all over.
Then there's a possible foreign government side to this too. Trump may have been told that relations between USA and foreign countries would suffer if Epstein stuff gets out.
Then there's the whole intelligence community / spying / blackmail element, which may be there or may not be there, but is in no way needed to explain Trump's behavior.
