Gazing Skyward To Those Crystal Clear Heavens, How Wonderful It'd Be...
To Walk With You, Side By Side; Forevermore With The Woman I Adore!
Such Halcyon Days We've Shared With Many More Yet To Come!
Bathed In Golden Rays Shining Sweetly Down.
An Eternity, It Feels, Laying Together In Wavy Fields Of Emerald Serenity...

Yet Long Enough It Never Is, I Know,

doom! gloom! alone in a dark room!
deafening silence,
nary a sound.
nought could be gleamed from this dream you've now been found!

scared! frightened! your chest quickly tightens!
panic and fear, oh how they've drawn too near!
for surely the dark harbors creatures most foul,
the depths of one's mind wherein they prowl.

a nightmare! beware! they visit one and all!
such horrible afflictions they inflict; the gall!
while many may stave off such dreadful designs,
a precious few must needs enlist aid most divine.

yet fortunately for you, such divinity indeed
is well within reach; you needn't plead!
for as soon as your nightmare seemed too much,
you feel a gentle tug; a soft, soothing touch!

plucked from nightly terrors, you've awoke!
from your savior's honeyed lips, how sweetly they spoke:

"My dear, never fear; I'll always be near,
and in troubles, day or night, I'll ever hold you tight.
I'll forfend and contend with whatever troubles you,
and if in dreams it may seem I'm not around,
remember, here and now, you're always safe and sound."

her reassuring tone,
never to be alone.
snuggled up in her care,
squeezed tight like a stuffed bear.
how snugly your head rests,
upon her comforting breast.
her heart beats strong, steady and deep;
your breathing slows down, you're soundly asleep.
