I am sorry to hear that, I lost my job a couple months ago and just got a new one last week actually. It was a pretty soulcrushing experience considering how much of myself I put into that job and at one point was getting praised for how smooth we were operating until upper management decided to fuck everything up.
That experience taught me that you will move on, you will find another job and be right as rain. The feeling sucks, but it is temporary and it isn't until you get ahead of it and come out on top that you realize how better off you might actually be.

It will sting for a bit, there is nothing I can say to fix that but look at the positives and acknowledge the growths you make. I've read and completed every sidequest in ARR to immerse myself into the world, and I'll continue to do so until EW.
DT is actually trash (aside from a couple of dungeons and the raids) and I won't be defending the new writers anymore.
I thought they were put on a leash so they wouldn't drastically change the story. A lack of freedom and direction.
But DT feels more like a shitty drama, trying to masquerade as a FF story, with OC characters they're trying to put a spotlight on.
I'd rather go through ARR three times, all while doing every DoW and DoL/DoH questline than care about DT anymore.

At that point I would either talk to them directly and ask about it to see if there's something able to be resolved/salvaged otherwise move on. Don't get trapped putting in more work than they are either, you may not even be the issue here.
I had to move on from somebody not too long ago that I valued deeply because they would tell me they valued our friendship then prove it by ghosting me for multiple weeks at a time and never seeming interested when we talked. Was also funny in hindsight when they tried to tell me "they like conversation" and I'm just like "Oh, so those months where you ghosted our conversations and never returned to them after like 4 messages almost daily was your love of conversation?" mentally.
You need to know when it's time to move on from those people and when to not beat yourself up. In hindsight for myself even, not a single thing of how poorly that friendship went was really my fault, and once I was able to autopsy the dead friendship more objectively did I come to that realization. Now I laugh at how seriously I took that friendship and how much I was treating it as all my fault.
