the character is half Garlean, half Doman
when I was coming up with the name I was playing fire emblem and really liked the name Tharja(and her aesthetic), so I wanted to make a name like that but i didn't want to copy it so I kinda swapped some letters
the last name was just from googling, I've considered making an "asian" sounding last name, but I ended up just writing in her backstory that her dad was the Garlean so that's why her name sounds so russian
