In general, Youtube alternatives really suffer from the altchan problem: the vast majority of people that use them are retarded midwit grifters who have nothing going for them except interchangeable lukewarm takes and psychotic basketcases who spam gore and CP 24/7 until they get turbobanned in every way possible, and both of these demographics are so narcissistic and hostile to everyone that isn't themselves that if you try to establish a new foothold there trying to do something creative, you're going to get completely ignored at best and outright spammed to death at worst by these jackasses
