Heart of Evil hotfix is out on Itch:
I fixed a bunch of bugs related to raising the FPS limit and the game is a bit easier:
both bosses have 80% the health they had previously, there's an extra ammo crate before bossfights and medkits heal you for 50 instead of 30.

I got a lot done since last DD, the game plays much better but it's still rough in a lot of places.
I also started experimenting with giving it a proper plot and adding NPCs you can talk to between missions.
It still needs a lot of work so I hope to get plenty of feedback.
