I genuinely don't care about the game balancing changes, as it mostly affects the people going for max difficulty Score Attacks which i wasn't doing anyways; I think it's being overblown, and feels more like incompetence than malice, especially with how often they backpedal on such things.
The new SS rarity variant however doesn't get enough hate. Pure greed to pull that shit this late into a games lifespan, and unlike the balance changes, this actually affects the more casual non-metafag players and characterfags too since they now have to be more conservative with their quartz now.
And anyone who thinks HBR (global especially) is on the upper-end of greedy gachas, really needs to (not) play other gachas. You don't know true greed until you drop $200 on a banner with no spark and don't even get a single copy of a limited time (actual limited time, unlike HBR's definition) unit, on top of using up all the in-game currency you've saved up for the past 5 months, even with multiple rate-ups. If you've been playing since launch, and have been buying the gold passes, you should have had enough quartz to spark for an entire 6-squad team by now (like i have), as long as you don't skimp out on getting rewards and doing dailies.
the complaint about the story never going anywhere is completely retarded though.
