Oh, and coffee. Jesus Christ. It's different for everybody but be extremely careful with coffee.

I cannot have it regularly or it will keep a flare going indefinitely... I can maybe have it a couple times a week and drink it slowly...Really better to just cut it out entirely.

I replaced coffee with Scottish breakfast tea. Fairly strong and dark tea with a strong aroma and a decent kick. Not a 1:1 but close enough for regularity and it is much easier on my gut.

You'll have your own list of suspected triggers. Food, situations, drinks, etc....Figure it out. It isn't scientific but I like to think I'm helping.
