>Wrong.
RT Marines weren't SUPARMANZ, weren't ten feet tall (or whatever), and lived and died in proper brutal fashion (not your gay little power fantasy)
>Back in RT, they pushed orks or eldar as much as marines, with obvious little success. Anad that has never changed.
That's not a reason to treat Chapters as if they were entire factions, other than GW's financial gain. Again, GW making money does nothing for players. Lavishing attention on Marines only exacerbates the problem. You aren't "winning" anything.
>They do it in almost every edition
No they don't. Go the the GW webstore: Marines are their own entire section alongside the rest of the Imperium, Chaos, and Xenos. Every edition* there are MULTIPLE Chapter codices. Multiple chapters have entire model ranges. How many other armies have anything remotely close to that? None (again, not that I'm saying they should. at best subfacs should maybe have a unique unit or two).
*why are there editions every few years? Oh yeah, because it's a shit game that only exists to maximize shareholder returns. Is that a good thing for 40k? It's profitable, after all!
