This is not even true, she's always been level headed towards most things that aren't related to the lake. Pretty much everyone there understood she had no idea about that aspect of herself, and only Outis jumped the gun and tried to demonize her for being a bloodfiend.
Ish is a hot head, but not a straight up hater for the sake of it, unless you're Ahab, or a mermaid from the lake or something. At best she'll try to act smart about stuff without truly understanding a lot of it.
