you apparently don't know tariffs are only applied on top of the cost of the product. Which means only the consumer pays. Maybe early on in a tariff cycle will a company 'eat' a portion of the new price on items already under contract. But that is a one time deal over in a couple months max.

Also, non of that production came back to the US now 8 months later. It at best only shipped ot a different nation for them to claim they made it before shipping it to you. Making your tariffs charge lower, but still a higher price than before that YOU pay.

Tariffs only work to protect domestic production. Which the US has nothing.
