It's weird. My rhythm just isn't for this planet. I've been working nights for the past two years and I'm mostly fine with it. Don't feel as good as I did with the alien schedule, but it's miles better than the morning shifts. I tried and tried for a decade but I just couldn't fucking adjust. I'd drag all day at work, be exausted when I got home, and wouldn't really perk up until 8 in the afternoon but would only have a couple hours before I'd have to get to bed. I tried taking some naps for a while but that never worked. I have never woke up from a nap feeling good. Always would feel worse and more tired then I did before taking a nap. Doesn't matter if it was a little 15-20 minute snooze or one or two hours. Naps and mornings just aren't for me.
