expats are actually pretty cool and they do hang out with each other all the time, they are pretty much the only one suistaining the nightlife scene in Singapore so you're bound to hang out with other white people if you're out. they're generally friendly, well educated, have good jobs etc. so it's a different class of people than the LBH stereotype in east asia
