The fact that farmers are crying, begging for Trump to end his trade war retardation despite voting for him again after getting destroyed in his first term's trade war retardation and would STILL vote for him even more if they could as if he'll listen to them just shows that "The Democrats just didn't put out a good candidate!" was a bullshit line. There is absolutely no limit to how much Trump can torture his own voters with his policies to convince them that a Democrat wouldn't have been worse. Business owners are going broke with tariffs and still believe Trump is going to somehow turn it around just for them personally.
