It comes with "liking Touhou" to be part of a community, as opposed to genuinely feeling an appreciation for the works. They are secondaries at best. Anyone who actually enjoys Touhou has known ZUN has been pumping out nothing but slop for years.

ZUN has fallen off. Never again will his work elicit the same feelings as the opening of Cinderella Cage in Stage 5 of IN, or that quiet moment in Stage 4 of PCB, or the nuclear alarms going off as you fight Okuu, or any other of the moments that made the old games so great.

The best thing ZUN can do is to pass Touhou off to someone younger and with a greater passion for the series, or at the very least start accepting more ideas from outside sources.
