I'd expect it to be a generational leap in power, but maybe it won't be. Because the primary concern is not power. It's price. If the PS6/Handheld is too expensive, it may not sell well and that could have long-term negative affects on an already declining console playerbase.
IMO the smart thing for Playstation to do is to make the PS6 affordable, not powerful. Most of the games that make Playstation so much fucking money aren't even graphically impressive games. It's games like Fortnite and CoD and FIFA. CoD 2025 is launching on the PS4 and X1.

It's not about power. Developers aren't really all that concerned about power and diminishing returns on graphics makes pursuing them less attractive. But developers do want to make games faster and for wider audiences. If the PS6 or its handheld are priced too high, it won't just restrict the potential audience Playstation can get, but also the developers that will continue to support its platforms.
