Yeah I'm not surprised they can't secure a freeloader. They're also not paying freeloaders a day rate anymore so for anyone who is not a NEET, you're losing money or vacation time to come on the show. It'd be pretty much impossible unless you're a student or independently wealthy.
I think they invested a lot in season 3 and maybe even lost money between having to buy the RV, paying day rates to every single contestant of famous house and famous house 2, plus fishbucks/cash prizes plus constant legal battles plus bloodgames before it barely broke even, plus renovations to the house, plus buying the house and going a week or two with minimal TTS. They are probably cheaping out as much as possible to try recoup money and it's working for TTS spam sometimes like with Rachel, but it's killing the good will of the fanbase how nontent this is.
