My girlfriend is a strict vegan so we are a vegan household. Recently, we got a dog (the most adorable little schnoodle you ever saw!) and we want to stick to our vegan morals.

The problem is, most dog foods are non-vegan. Most other advice for dog food is also non-vegan.

Does anyone else keep vegan pets? What are some vegan-friendly dog treats? We were thinking carrots but they are a little firm. Perhaps boiled?
