Since this is the most normal Switch 2 thread I've seen I'll say this here - genuinely not sure whether I should bite the bullet and go digital on this thing.

I'm usually pro-physical but am not against digital if it's cheaper. I don't resell so it's purely that I value the permanence of physical. That and I like seeing a physical collection build up.

But everything on Switch 2 seems to be trying to push me in the digital only direction. Game Key Cards mean most third parties I won't get physical, because if a game is on a game key card I'd genuinely just rather get it digital anyway. So collections will be less of a thing. Nintendo is literally making their digital games cheaper than physical retail here too (Kirby Air Riders is £58 digital, £67 physical). And then there's the fact it's portable and so there's a genuine convenience factor.

I need to decide before Pokemon Legends Z-A and Kirby Air Riders release but I honestly might just say fuck it and go digital despite usually being hardline against it. Considering it's not just cheaper but more convenient, I dunno.

I don't understand the people who buy it and then complain. You had free access to all possible information you could need. Games, performance, functionality etc. It's been like a month or two, which is not a time frame where that information would have significantly changed. How could you reasonably have spent $400 and somehow already regret the decision?

FGO has tons of males that aren't for you, and in fact, has multiple married couples (Sigurd and Brynhild, Siegfried and Kriemhild, Consort Yu and Xiang Yu etc.) and characters with existing relationships that prevent them from being 'for (you)' (Circe being attracted to Odysseus, Xu Fu being attracted to Consort Yu etc.). In most of these cases they're both separately playable units and everything.

It works out fine as long as your audience isn't autistic (enough).

Was Tsukihime's "Teach Me, Ciel-sensei" the first of its kind in that specific format, or were there others like it prior to it?

I'm curious because I remember Blazblue had one that was formatted identically and had the same kind of humour, but was it referencing specifically Tsukihime's Ciel-sensei corner or was it more general like that? It was specifically titled "Help Me, Professor Kokonoe!"

I don't get the mentality here. Why are you tuning in? You opened a stream for a convention event where the devs, staff and VA talk about the game and characters and do a bunch of fluff, and then you're somehow bothered by the fluff.

This just made me think, so I checked something out

Theseus and Sugitani both get added into the game with the Grail Front event this year. But the Ptolemy rate up only has Sugitani, while Theseus is the solo 3* rate up on the Taigong Wang rate up and shared 3* rate up with Sugitani on the Waver and Iskander rate ups.

It should be fine either way, since both are permanent so you can just get Theseus naturally from FP rolls/future SQ rolls after the event, but it means that during the event the only way to get a copy of Theseus is to specifically roll on Taigong Wang/Waver/Iskander.
