It didn't use to be like that. Back at launch you could straight up refuse to start the story and it gives you a vision of the future where you stay as a wagie and nothing particularly out of the ordinary happens to the universe, something something Elio scripts.
But then with Amphoreus they did a complete 360 where now the MC is the destined savior of the universe and shit and every vision without (You) is a galactic calamity, something something Elio scripts.
I really don't get it.
