Seems like our goals are both pretty big. I get this feeling like as two writefags we won't agree on story much but if you want to join forces for the gameplay and engine side of things it might be a way to get collaboration on it without tying our ideas into knots trying to fit in one another's. As long as the game is 3d in some respect and can result in a combat system similar to trails (free roaming swapping to grid) we should have a lot of overlap. I'm not going for anything more detailed than the sky kind of look anyway, but sadly there's not a lot of 3d off the shelf trpg like makers out there.
