The annoying thing is that it doesn't mean anything except that Taeshi is somehow getting worse as a comic creator. These last few pages were initially intended to take place before Rain Check, but Taeshi impulsively to replace the OG Sue chapter with Method Acting, then she changed her mind again and impulsively decided to bring back this scene and jam it in where it doesn't make sense anymore.
