I took a quick look at Trinnie and I don't see any problems, especially since she doesn't use Response Core in the first place. Can you do the following?
>without Response Core and just Custom Fixed Dialogue, trigger the pendant dialogue in-game
>as soon as you do that, type "patch summary anon.trinnie" (without quotes) in the SMAPI console
>upload your SMAPI log https://smapi.io/log and link it here
