It seems like there's a lot of horror stories about translators being assholes. The most recent one I came across is for this game:

>Find interesting looking jrpg on RGT that just got an English translation

>Some type of non-linear quasi mmo style game with a bunch of cool character building options

>Download 1.0 version and give it a try

>Horrifically broken English, over half of the dialogue is complete nonsense, even the tutorial is completely garbled, so you can't even figure out how to play, let alone follow the plot

>People are complaining in the comments that this should not be a 1.0 release. the translator has a stickied comment saying they are working on improving it.

>People comment on the terrible quality more and more over time

>Translator calls them assholes for complaining about the quality of something they got for free, has a meltdown and deletes the discord dedicated to the project, even says that they have a new script with a better translation that they will never release because of people complaining

>never hear from them again
