You'll be doing stuff "around" others more than "with" others, meaning you're all doing the same activity in the same place, but there is no need to group up or coordinate for the most part. In a way it's more relaxed because it's all individual responsibility so you can just learn at your own pace, and the little amount of group responsibility there is, if any, gets covered naturally by the sheer amount of players partaking in the activity.
There is some content where you do group up and each player has a role, but that's usually later into the game.
