The dialogue is a mess. Ashley talks about a conga line of civilian aliens being brought on as fucking crew on an Alliance ship.

Is absolutely insane if you bothered to read the codex. The aliens should all be screeching 24/7 about humans taking over and being handed everything, b3cause they are.
Its why all human council is hands down the most motherfucking smooth brained brown choice in the whole trilogy, just being so simple and knowing so little about the worldbuilding that you think its possible for any race much less humans to pull off.
