I'm ESL so I can't get into the technical stuff but basically:
The goverment was pushing hard for more green energy
We reached 78% green energy, 60%of the total was solar. (The thing with solar is it's output isn't stable so it needs nuclear/hydraulic power plants to complement it to average it out)
Our goverment bragged about how we had the greenest energy in yurop
One or 2 weeks after that we had a full country blackout for 10 hours.
Experts at the time were saying we had way too much solar energy and very little nuclear in our mix so it wasn't enought to stabilize it
Now, months after the fact, the woman incharge of the whole thing is blamming a private power plant for bringing the whole thing down.
