It could be a cymbal crash, but it must have been recorded/changed in production by an immense amount, because it doesn't even sound like an instrument, more like some wild lowfi electronic sample made to emulate a crash or something. The effect is so strong it reminds me of when people put door crashing/explosion/thunder sounds to emphasize hits as well, such as Esoctrilihum uses all over this track:
