I mean its arguably more strange when its just a random one off hit like at 0:47, its not the same as anything else in terms of sound and its really jarring to hear it randomly interspersed. I haven't listened to all his stuff since I'm not particularly into him, but I think my favorite album is the one I posted. Its free of any of his later symphonic casiocringe, the production is far better than his earlier stuff, and has less of the overtly melodic/prog moments (still has them a bit). Consecration of the Spiritus Flesh is his style of extreme metal mostly purified and distilled into its essence. Its a bit heavy though, like just a torrent of noise pounding into your ears that gets pretty tiring after a bit, but hes pretty good at it.

I guess if you can get into stuff like Anaal Nathrakh or An Axis of Perdition with their constant blast spam nonsense, then CotSF is basically just a better version of that.

Anyways, I'm off.
