You fucking imbecile. You have the media literacy of a child raised on Ian Flynn comics.
"Taming the man" is a concept for weak-willed women who can't handle a real man's energy. That's not what Sally does. You're looking at the foundation of Western storytelling and calling it shit because you're too stupid to understand it.
Sonic is the unstoppable force, the rebellious American teenager with that 90s Bill Clinton swagger. Sally is the immovable object. She's "Nega Sonic." She's the authority, the knows-best maternal figure that provides the structure for his rebellion. She doesn't want to change who he is, you moron. She's the anchor that makes his freedom meaningful. It's the classic dynamic. It’s mommy dommy peak, and it's what makes their story compelling.
Your complaint is what applies to that pink hedgehog Maekawa and the rest of Sonic Team are obsessed with. Amy is "Girl Sonic." She's just a gender-swapped version of him. She wants the same adventure, the same rebellion. Two "unstoppable forces" don't make a story. They just create redundant, boring chaos. Why would Sonic, the coolest guy around, want to date a copy of himself? Opposites attract. It's not that hard to grasp.
Look at the real archetypes, the ones that matter:
>Tails: Kid Sonic
>Sally: Nega Sonic
>Knuckles: Authority
Each one is a perfect narrative foil. Amy doesn't fit. She's just there. A cool rebel girl on her own, sure, but she's not right for Sonic. Get your head out of the Japanese shipping gutter and learn how actual character dynamics work.
