Peru has signed on to produce some parts for the KF21 and has a MOU for acquiring the second stealth tranche of the KF21 in the next decade to replace the MIG-29 to serve along with Brazilian made Gripens. Any idea what parts these are? Peru has a surprisingly competent MIC for a small third world South American nation with zero budget allocation for military r&d. They want to have local sub-assembly and parts production of the K2 and K808/N-WAV in the next 5 years too.

Peru is already in the process of acquiring Korean jets and Canada likely will as well. Peru already signed a contract to start making parts for the KF21 too.
