yep, it's true, it's something like a trauma I have, my parents always denied me everything, so I learned to live with it, because whatever I asked or said they said no or made fun of me (or so I thought as a child), so I learned not to ask them for anything, and not to accept gifts from them, because then they remind me with phrases like “I bought that for you” and so on.
