Yeah my error was thinking I could make friends in the social media aspect of the forum. But it is heavily censored by people with a proverbial chip on their shoulders.

They will call you a Nazi for critizising the most powerful people on the world, while they tolerate an actual genocide, and exercise fascist censorship and character assassination.

I thought the places was going to be Modded by Spike, that was my error, he was always very tolerant to all kinds of people with strong opinions in CDRomance, he even tolerated real assholes as long as they did not insult others, they were allowed their opinions.

I always respected Spike's laissez faire approach to Modding.

"A Mod is best who Mods least".

But the Alphabet Mafia are on a power trip. I reckon they have their Discord servers where they gather and plan these Take-Overs of websites and coordinate on how to gang-stalk people who do not praise them and submit to their world-view.

I insist. CDRomance was THE BESTEST website in the Intertubes.

You can no longer comment like before, nor make friends like before because people keep getting banned or giving up on the site.

The Repo is still an amazing Catalogue just by virtue of having small descriptions, previews, cover art, and User Comments to discuss each ROM, which makes it much easier to "Window Shop".

Archive.org has EVERYTHING, even converted to CHD already, but it lacks the ease of use of an ACTUAL CATALOGUE.

I insist, Spike is an ARTIST CURATOR.
