It's a puzzle game disguised as a horde shooter if you play at the higher difficulties. Fun as fuck, and the jank + absurd weapons just adds to it. Also the mechs feel VERY good to pilot in the sense that they are weighty as fuck.

Either way, the final battle is fucked since you're basically fighting a literal god that can regenerate and rip meteors from the sky to throw down at you. Even the elite forces that have fought and survived alongside you for a good chunk of the late-game perish in the fight.
