Few years back, before Covid, in Tech World "hot thing" was Autonomous Driving. And N.Modi banned development of Autonomous Driving in India.

At moment, hot thing is AI. And N.Modi has banned development of it in India.

For some reason, N.Modi is ready to seriously reduce investments in India. Probably, because money which indians send back home gives serious currency influx.
Bottom line: indian government is doing extra steps to limit foreign investments in IT field in India. Why? You probably know better than I.

He and his retarded government decided to ban research of Autonomous Driving. So western companies has to import jeet engineers.
Same with AI. Ban it, instead of organizing some tech-camps where western companies could open offices for AI research in India. More jeets could remain in India, and technical competency inside India would grew.
