>Thoughts on this list? Mostly planning to use it to play mostly older/indie games and sometimes more modern stuff.
In your kangaroo market the 14600K has comparable gaming performance to the 9700X with slightly higher multi-threaded performance (thanks to all the E-Cores) for substantially less money plus you can use cheaper DDR4 RAM with it for additional savings. See benchmarks here:

Slightly overpaying for the SSD & choice of 9060 XT 16GB.
Although cases are still a personal choice, the Montech AIR 903 MAX is an objectively good budget case for thermals/noise with 4x included 120mm fans making it $100 AUD cheaper than the Antec option you picked out + extra fan pack.

The Phantom Spirit is slightly better than the Peerless Assassin for less money.

I took some the of the savings and bumped your monitor up from a 27" 1440p@180Hz to 27" 4K@160Hz
Fast-IPS panel which shouldn't be an issue since you mostly play older/indie games anyway while letting you appreciate games/content and your general desktop/text with much better sharpness/less aliasing thanks to the higher pixel density.

Edited PCPP Suggestion (feel free to keep the 1440p monitor or OG case): https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/ZXRmTM
Even with the 4K gaming monitor upgrade included, that's still $428 AUD saved under your budget.
