4. Magic was already dissatisfied with Kaytotes after he forced them to use trinity instead of azeroth core.
He most likely left due to the stress. We have no insight on how the devs get along so we don't know if it was Kaytotes losing his shit and blaming him or just Magic crumbling after all his work to bring trinity core up to speed and the last 2 weeks (probably more) of crunch for nothing.

5. They want the audience for sure, I don't think the server will rake in the cash without p2w or p4c. But epoch is nothing like brozebeard, I don't think they share an audience.

6. The moment kaytotes leaves the project the server dies. Who is going to develop new raids bosses and add mechanics to the old ones?
