There was an existing dynamic there with Bomb being one of Yoru's "children", but Reze being its current "owner".
Not to mention her being one of Denji's "exes" which would cause jealousy in Yoru.
There is also the whole America vs USSR thing.

I am curious about how P1 characters would be drawn in the current style. I wonder if that's part of the reason why Fujimoto doesn't bring them back, that he just doesn't feel comfortable drawing them anymore.
I feel like Reze would end up looking a lot like Asa when she's drawn with light eyes.
