Shitposting aside, I'm gonna give a serious answer say what I think about Kaveh's character, and I reckon many of the anons here will agree with me. This is gonna be long
Completely ignoring the shipfaggotry with Alhaitham, Kaveh is genuinely one of the most irritating characters in the entire game. I do understand what they were going for with the tortured artist theme, and how he struggles to remain idealistic and emotional despite all his hardships, he just comes off as someone so completely idiotic, so up his own ass that you just want to kick him in the nuts.
I say this as someone who read every single piece of dialogue in the Kaveh event and the Kaveh hangout; he has no fucking idea what he's talking about, both as an idealist and as an architect.
>Kaveh is poor, struggles with money and is in debt.
This is his main character trait and will always be part of the status quo. This is something most of us can relate, right?
Except that not really, because the reason for this debt is his own stupidity. He didn't even get scammed, he scammed HIMSELF.
>He's an architect. Don't they get paid VERY handsomely?
Yes, of course. He's the most popular architect in Sumeru, and his craft is deeply admired. Problem is that he has such a shitty personality that he refuses to work when he doesn't agree with the customer's order. This motherfucker's job is to build stuff, and he refuses to build stuff if it doesn't suit his fancy, while constantly insulting the customer behind his back.
>Kaveh once won a huge bounty of Mora in a contest he won legitimately
He refused the money because, according to his ideals, that money wasn't obtained honestly by the host. Despite the fact that HE DID EARN IT HONESTLY, it apparently doesn't count in his mind. Not even a little bit of it to get him out of trouble, he just refuses to use ANY of it
In that same event, Cyno also offered to trade him a big sum of money, 100% legitimately. Apparently that also didn't count.
