What's it matter? Most of the universal support Logistics and guns are still very decent even if you completely botch your support skill and you can make anything between Kaguya, Shadow Ka, Magician, Eatchel and plenty of others work solely through investment. It isn't a complete surprise that Vidya pretty much poisoned the well when it comes to current support roster, but you can't expect everyone to have been around for her patch. Unless you're solely living in Neural Sim universe, the sidegrade/older options work just fine because newbies need to start somewhere. Kaguya is obviously the most functional option, if you have access to her but i'm only talking about the current patch and for that you've either got Eatchel as the comfort support or Mauxir as a universal Ballistic support.
