All the hysterical fear mongering that the Separation Program Designator code, "JDK", issued to transgender officers who are involuntary discharged under the 2025 ban, would trigger security-clearance incident reports or revocations and gender dysphoria would be reportable issue under SEAD-3 has been dispelled. The ban is a policy decision, not about targeting transgender people. All service members, regardless of if they are transgender or not, but meet the stand standards as all serve members, that includes no special accommodations for sex based standards.
>In all cases, the characterization of service will be Honorable, unless otherwise warranted.
If this was about targeting trans people, they would have made it dishonorable. Even Don't Ask Don't Tell didn't have a mandatory Honorable discharge, this does.
